At the end of a long day at work the last thing most business owners want to do is paperwork/bookkeeping. Bookkeeping while essential is often one of those things that gets put off and left to the last minute.
Appreciating that most people do not like bookkeeping we try to make it as simple as possible for our clients by tailoring a solution which is right for them. We review the current bookkeeping system, if there is one! provide suggestions for improvements, this can be something as simple as setting up the defaults on your current system, or by developing something bespoke to you that you feel comfortable with.
Of course if you really do not want to do the bookkeeping we can do it for you either at our offices or your place of work. Or if you prefer to employ a bookkeeper we can help recruit the right person for your business.
Payroll services
Often calculating the payroll takes considerable amounts of time and effort to complete on a weekly or monthly basis. By installing the right software for you we can save you significant amounts of time and simplify the process allowing you or your staff more time to concentrate on other things. If you prefer we are also happy to take control of the payroll for you so all you have to do is give out the wage slips.
Management information
We can produce monthly or quarterly information which shows how the
business is progressing throughout the year, not just at the end of it.
This is the backbone of any development and coaching work we do with

institutions, for a lot of people this can be very daunting. As always
we are here to lend a helping hand, we can help guide you through the
process, supply any additional information and liaise with them as
required.
Through previous dealings and relationships we have built
up over time we can introduce you to a number of professionals, banks
and institutions who we feel look after their clients as we look after
ours. If you are unsure where to start we can get them to contact you
to see if they can help. However we do not recommend any one particular
professional, bank or institution we feel that is not in the best
interests of our clients and prefer instead to look at the needs of the
business and the individual deal offered at the time that most benefits
our client.
System checks
Every business has systems in place, however some businesses do not realise they have them. Systems are processes that are carried out within the business for example always chasing payments from your customers after three weeks.
Reviewing your systems and ensuring they are working properly we can help you take back control of your stock and credit control, and help with your budgeting and forecasting. This can also help us in identification of problems.
IT
Computers are everywhere, in day to day life they can make jobs infinitely easier if they are working correctly, with the right software and hardware, to do the jobs required or they can make it ten times more difficult if they do not.
By reviewing your current system or setting up a new one for you we can help to make sure the job is easier not harder.
Selecting the hardware you need is often confusing when there are so many out there, we can help you select the computer or computers you need and any printers or other pieces of equipment. Computers have dropped sharply in price over the last few years which means new systems can be bought on a budget and do not have to cost the earth.
If selecting hardware is confusing then selecting the right software can be a nightmare, but again we are on hand to make sure the software you require is the software that you are using. We can also assist in training to help get the most out of it.
